New OSHA Regulations Tracking Workplace Injuries

caution wet floorOn November 8, 2013, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) issued a proposed regulation, Improve Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses that would require employers, for the first time, to submit workplace injury and illness data in electronic form to OSHA[1]. In addition, the data submitted to OSHA would them become public record. OSHA will accept public comments on the proposed regulation until February 6, 2014.
